![]() ![]() This time migrate only your data from the old PC and install your apps the normal way. I would strongly suggest just resetting the new PC to its factory state and starting over. I think that other person ended up having to manually edit their Windows Installer database to purge all references to Reflect to get a working setup again. Even for apps where it works, if you’re running migrated 32-bit apps when native 64-bit versions of those apps exist, you can experience reduced performance because a single 32-bit process can only consume 2 GB of memory. The default is 64 bit but you might want to check and make sure the 64 bit option is checked,ĭid you try to use PCMover to move the Reflect application itself from your old 32-bit environment to your new 64-bit environment? If so, I remember someone else here tried that and ended up unable to run Reflect, or uninstall it, or reinstall over it.įYI trying to move applications between Windows environments in general is unreliable at best, but moving apps from 32-bit to 64-bit is just a recipe for disaster. Within the Download Agent there is an option to select 32 bit or 64 bit versions. I get the Reflect 8 window with message Macrium Reflect Home Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. ![]() I get the message Attempting to install 32 bit installer on 64 bit version of Windows. Next, Ready to Install and I click install. Next is the Custom Set up screen and I choose Install Image Guardian, Install Desktop Guardian and Install Location The next screen shows that the product is registered to me. The install gets to the Set Up Wizard Screen where I accept the terms and enter the license key Retried the install of R.8 several times but no success. I couldn't find the deinstall for the old version from the old computer so I removed (maybe) the old M.Bu. I purchased release 8 -64 bit - today (8) and using Macrium Reflect Download Agent have not been able to get a successful install. I tried running Macrium Backup on the new but it wouldn't work. I purchased a new computer running Win 10 Pro (64 bit) and transferred most files using PCMover. I have been running.the free home version of Macrium for a number of years on a computer with Win 10 Home (32bit).
